More on our Special Guest, Bria Hamlet, '15

JustBriFree Yoga & Wellness is a health education consulting company to provide a multidisciplinary, holistic health workshops and classes with the intent to demystify the mind-body wellness connection. JBF was founded by Bria Hamlet, MPH, CHES, RYT-200 (affectionately nicknamed Bri). She is a Certified Health Educator and 200-hour Registered Yoga Instructor. While JBF serves everyone, most clientele are black and indigenous people of color, as well as LGBTQIA+ persons. As a black and queer woman, Bria's clients report that learning from a person who shares their marginalized identities enhances their overall experience.

After years of practicing and self-healing, Bria decided to become a yoga instructor and bring yoga to her community. In April 2019 she launched debuted her signature Soul Flow Sunday vinyasa yoga classes. In just one year of operation, JustBriFree has taught over 150 students – most of whom are new to yoga. Her work has been featured in POPSUGAR, Glamour, Oprah Magazine, Voyage LA, and several other online publications. Bria has also taught live and recorded yoga classes for YogaGreenBook, Thrive Causemetics, Advanced Clinicals and FRÉ Skincare. Bria is currently a virtual Educator-In-Residence at the Women's Resource Center of Cornell University.
