Catherine Myers – Program Coordinator catmyers@umbc.edu
Cathy began working with the Language, Literacy, and Culture program in February 2025. She brings prior UMBC experience in Human Resources as well as Student Conduct and Community Standards. Cathy holds an A.A. and a B.S. in Elementary Education, from Harford Community College and Coppin State University, respectively. She also holds a certification in Baking and Pastry Skills from Anne Arundel Community College. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Community Leadership at UMBC. In her spare time, Cathy enjoys spending time with her family and two resident cats. She also loves baking, knitting, watching Nordic noirs, and fostering cats and kittens.
