Description
The New Graduate Assistant (GA) Handbook Orientation will be offered on 2/1/21 from 11am-12pm. Please note that this is a required session for new spring 2021 GAs: All NEW RAs, TAs, Graders, AAs, Peaceworkers, etc., must attend. If, due to extenuating circumstances, you are not able to attend, please email jeffhalv@umbc.edu
During the session, we will go over the GA Handbook and GA FAQs. We will discuss appointment letters, tuition remission, registration requirements, what to do if questions or problems arise, FICA, and much more.
Participants will have an opportunity to meet and ask questions of Associate Dean Jeff Halverson. The session will be recorded and will be made available to GAs as a reference.
