Description
A discussion group for UMBC's women in STEM. In this first meeting, we will discuss the topic of gender in STEM classrooms, labs, and professional spaces. Our guest facilitator will be Kathleen Hoffman, Professor in Biological Sciences and Mathematics & Statistics.
Each discussion group will take place monthly. Please visit our myUMBC page for the other discussion dates (which include October 19th and November 15th!). Guest facilitators (staff and faculty in STEM fields at UMBC) change each month.
To help kick off this new program, we'll be providing pizza! Please RSVP so we know how many pizzas to order.
