Description
In recognition of Relationship Violence Awareness Month and as a part of Critical Social Justice: Ignite, the Women's Center and is proud to present a choreographed piece by Alexia Petasis (Women's Center Staff).
Join us for a short dance performance and conversation about the role of art in meaning, knowledge-making, and activism with Alexia Petasis and Jen White-Johnson. Alexia is an Interdisciplinary Studies major with a concentration on Choreography for Social Justice who will graduate in spring, 2019. Jen White-Johnson is a UMBC Alumni, Visual Arts '08, and is currently a graphic designer, educator, and photographer.
