Constructing Identity: A Public Anti-Racism Workshop.
May 21st, 2016, 10:30-3pm

Neighborhood Voices committee welcomes CASA, Citi Bloc, and SOMOS to present a dynamic and bilingual workshop to kick off this year’s anti-racism workshop series! Young Baltimore activists share their work and upcoming projects on Race, Immigration, and Police Violence. Participants reflect on the foundations of their identity through art and discussion. Service learning hours are available for youth. Workshop is on Patterson Park Library on 158 N Linwood Ave. Professional interpretation is available for Spanish speakers. Suggested ages 14 and older. Lunch is included! Please register to info@creativealliance.org or call (410) 276-1651. Coffee and registration begins at 10:30am.

Let's hear it for the incredible Neighborhood Voices committee members of Banner Neighborhoods, Fusion Partnerships, Inc., CCBC Dundalk, Pathways to Homeownership, MFA in Community Arts at MICA PLACE, Creative Alliance, Living Classrooms, and Centro SOL.

Workshop is free of charge thanks to the support from Baltimore Heritage Area Association, Towson University, Peck Family Foundation, and Baltimore Community Foundation. Donations are welcome and support Creative Alliance's community outreach programs.
