Description
From all of us at The Mosaic, we wish you a happy and prosperous new year!
Also known as the Spring Festival (春节) / Chinese New Year (新年) in China, Tết in Vietnam, and Seollal (설날) in Korea, Lunar New Year marks the beginning of the new year on the lunisolar calendar and is celebrated through various traditions over several days. It is observed in many countries across East and Southeast Asia, including China, Vietnam, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan.
Join The Mosaic as we celebrate the Year of the Snake and Lunar New Year! Come write wishes/blessings to hang in The Mosaic, pick up a lucky red pocket provided by the International Students and Scholars team (Center for Global Engagement), and learn about how different cultures celebrate Lunar New Year.
