Please join us for our 10th Annual Lavender Celebration on Monday, May 22nd from 6:00–8:00 pm in person at The Commons, Skylight Room!  An evening to celebrate the wonderful achievements of UMBC’s LGBTQIA2+ graduating seniors, graduate students, and their allies. 

LGBTQIA2+ students overcome incredible odds to succeed and make a difference at UMBC. This ceremony is in recognition of LGBTQIA2+ students and in recognition of all the allied staff, faculty, alumnx, and programs that work to support them. 

Graduating seniors and graduate students who RSVP will be recognized and receive Lavender honor cords, Pride Center lapel pin, and Lavender Graduate Certificate. To receive your Lavender honor cords and pin, please fill out our Lavender and Black & Latine/x Celebration Social Media Campaign + Graduation Package Form. Please note that you DO NOT need to participate in the social media campaign in order to receive your care package.  

DEADLINE to receive a COMPLETE Package: Friday, May 19, 2022 by noon [No further extensions will be granted, however there will be a few extra cords set aside]. Award categories will encompass student, staff, faculty, alumnx, and programmatic efforts, and will include recognition for LGBTQIA2+ individuals, as well as allies to the community.
