SGA Election Results

2,521 students voted in this year's SGA election, the largest turnout in UMBC history (previous record: 2,448 votes in the 2009 election).  Congratulations to all the newly elected leaders (in bold) and all of the students who had the courage to run.  The new officers will be inaugurated at a public ceremony on Wednesday, May 11th.

PRESIDENT AND EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT

Catie Collins (President) and Dylan Cook (Executive Vice President):  876 votes (38.8%)

Matthew McNey (President) and Charles Mason III (Executive Vice President): 759 votes (33.7%)

Nathaniel Buechler (President) and Byron Bell (Executive Vice President): 406 votes (18.0%)

Suzanne Hollis (President) and Valerie LeMire (Executive Vice President): 149 votes (6.6%)

Other: 65 votes (2.9%)


VICE PRESIDENT FOR STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS

Damani Lewis: 946 votes (49.4%)

Erica Jones: 901 votes (47.1%)

Other: 66 votes (3.5%)


TREASURER

Kayleswari Ramu: 1,629 votes (92.0%)

Other: 141 votes (8.0%)
