LLC Conference Keynote Speaker Announced: Dr. Kaye Whitehead
Dr Kaye Whitehead, Assistant Professor of Communication at Loyola
University of Maryland (and, UMBC's Language, Literacy and Culture
Doctoral Program Alumna '09), will speak as part of the
Opening Plenary at the upcoming Southern Regional Education Board
conference. The title of her talk is "Using Your History as a Stepping
Stone for Your Destiny."
In addition to this talk, Dr. Whitehead has graciously agreed to serve as the keynote speaker for the April 12, 2014 LLC Graduate Student Conference, "Rethinking Intellectual Activism" here at UMBC.
