SGA Election: Vote Now (+Bonus Trivia)

Vote in the undergraduate student election from now until Wednesday night at midnight.  To vote, go to the SGA election web site (where you can read about the candidates) or follow one of the links below straight into Blackboard (choose the link that corresponds with your last name).

Here's a by-the-numbers look at recent SGA elections:

602 = minimum number of votes needed to win a seat on the Finance Board in last year's election

573 = minimum number of votes needed to win a seat in the Senate in last year's election

2 = the margin of victory in last year's closest race (for Senator)

3 = the number of candidates in last year's Senate race who came within 20 votes of being elected but fell short

2,020 = largest number of votes ever received by a UMBC SGA candidate

3 = consecutive years in which a higher percentage of UMBC students have voted in their SGA election than did students at Towson and College Park in their elections

Good luck to all of this year's candidates!
