Your Voice on Academic Integrity
As you may have heard, UMBC is conducting a survey about academic integrity. Every UMBC undergraduate and graduate student, and everyone who teaches classes here, has the opportunity to participate.
I'm a member of the committee sponsoring the survey at UMBC (it's a national survey run by the Center for Academic Integrity), and I can tell you the results are going to make a difference. As we consider the future of academic integrity at UMBC, we want to know: In your view, what counts as cheating? How much misconduct is occurring? How are people responding to incidents of misconduct?
The survey is takes about ten minutes to complete and is completely anonymous. Completed surveys go directly to the Center for Academic Integrity and no identifying information is included. So please participate, and be candid!
Follow this link and choose the version of the survey that best applies to you. Thanks!
