Ethnography at a Distance Faculty Working Group
January 2021 Meetings
In order to pursue the mission of the working group, which is to figure out ways to continue our own ethnographic research during this time of social distancing and to coach our students in theirs, we are going to have a series of focused conversations from 10-11:30 during January:
- Jan. 8 - **11:30-1** this date only
Doing standard ethnography at a distance - Jan. 12 - Teaching ethnography at a distance
- Jan. 19 - Doing new kinds of ethnography at a distance
- Jan. 29 - ***10-11***ethical considerations in doing ethnography at a distance
These conversations will be open to anyone currently doing or teaching ethnography to drop in to any or all sessions that interest them. While the group is primarily for faculty, we also welcome advanced graduate students using ethnographic methods.
