CS3 Programming and Events

  • All CS3 programming and events have either been cancelled or postponed or will be hosted in a virtual format. For more information, visit our updates page and join our myUMBC group.
  • Specific updates for Spring 2020:
    • Our remaining Social Sciences Forum Lectures have been cancelled and/or postponed until the next academic year.
    • Our Academic Cover Letter and CV speed review event for graduate students has been moved ONLINE. To sign up, please email socialscience@umbc.edu.
    • Our "Climate Solutions Roundtable Debate" on 4/21 will be held ONLINE via Zoom; visit our event page for the link.
    • A virtual forum featuring UMBC social science faculty on research and responses to COVID-19 is in preparation; stay tuned. 
    • Join the conversation! How is your research tackling issues related to COVID-19, and how do insights from your research or discipline help us understand this health crisis? Send us a short video, photograph, or quote -- we’ll be compiling them to feature on the web and on social media.
