Maryland Youth Advisory Council
The Maryland Youth Advisory Council was established by the state legislature to give young people a forum for providing feedback and recommendations on policies and programs that will affect their future. UMBC students between the ages of 14 and 22 can submit applications to the Maryland Higher Education Commission. For a copy of the application form and instructions, send me an email at dhoffman@umbc.edu. The deadline to apply for a position on the 2011-2012 council is Friday, July 15th.
