CAHSS Pedagogy end Teaching Event

Drs. Mallinson, Hogan, Lee & Shelton discuss their projects

The College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences at UMBC will have an information session about The Dean’s Pedagogy and Teaching (PAT) Fund on February 23rd. The Fund supports grants that are open to CAHSS faculty members twice per academic year to support pedagogical development.

Dr. Christine Mallinson, Dr. Erin Hogan (affiliate faculty from MLLI), Dr. Jiyoon Lee and Dr. Nancy Rankie Shelton (affiliate faculty from Education) were among the Spring 2017 awardees. In the event, they will discuss their projects and answer questions about the process:

Erin Hogan: CineMaestro ™

Jiyoon Lee, Education: Linking Theory to Practice: Helping Pre-Service ESOL teachers to be Effective in Classroom-Based Assessment
