The NEH program Institutes for Advanced Topics in the Digital Humanities funds workshops and institutes on various topics in the digital humanities. For most institutes, attendance is free and includes reimbursement for travel and lodging. To sign up for an institute, please see below

Textual Data & Digital Texts in the Undergraduate Classroom

The institute will introduce methods for digitally examining texts, the primary object of study for many in the humanities. Participants will explore how these approaches be productively incorporated into undergraduate humanities classes.

Digital Editions, Digital Corpora, and New Possibilities for the Humanities in the Academy and Beyond

This institute will provide an opportunity for humanists to spend an intensive two weeks applying a range of new methods for annotating textual sources that transform both the audiences that such texts serve and the role that such texts play in the intellectual life of advanced researchers, students and the general public.

Virtual and Augmented Reality Digital Humanities Institute (V/AR-DHI)

The Institute will be focused on the application of virtual reality and augmented reality technologies to humanities research, teaching and outreach.
