Register to Vote

Maryland will elect a new statewide officers, state legislators and members of Congress in 2014. Take a few minutes to register to vote in the 2014 national election, here or in your home state, using these tools.

Maryland Voter Registration Application (download a paper form, or use the Maryland Online Voter Registration system). If you're already registered but have moved since the last election, you can use the Maryland Voter Registration Application to change your address. The deadline to register before the 2014 general election is: October 14, 2014.

Request an absentee ballot: If you will not be able to vote during early voting or on election day, you can request an absentee ballot using the online registration application or by completing and mailing in this printable form. The deadline to request an absentee ballot for the 2014 general election is: October 28, 2014, for ballots delivered by mail or fax; October 31, 2014 for ballots delivered via Internet. Completed absentee ballots must be received by local election boards by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, November 4, 2014.
