UMBC's Lisa Akchin Appointed to Baltimore City School Board

Congratulations to Lisa Akchin, UMBC's Associate Vice President for Marketing and Public Relations, who has been appointed to the School Board for the Baltimore City Public Schools. Lisa's appointment was announced last week by Governor Martin O'Malley and Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake.
