Real People Profiles: Brendan Chittick

Name: Brendan Chittick

Major: American Studies/History


Q: How long have you been at UMBC?

A: Second Semester Transfer Student.

Q: What is your current title (job or student organization position)?

A: I am currently a Student Events Board Programmer as well as the WMBC Assistant Radio Station Manager and DJ of my own punk rock radio show Shorter Faster Louder. In addition to these roles I am also a resident of the Humanities Living Learning Community.

Q: In 12 words or less, what role(s) do you play on campus? 

A: Pizza eatin', rock 'n' rollin', event plannin', silly boy student guy!

Q: What aspect of your UMBC role(s) do you enjoy most?

A: I love being a part of Student Events Board because of the countless smiles I witness at the many events we host. You would not believe the hard work that (seb) puts into our events and how rewarding it is to see the student body partake in the fun. I also enjoy my role at WMBC because of my love for music and diy (do it yourself) punk culture.

Q: What is the most important or memorable thing you learned in college/have learned at UMBC?

A: There is so much more to learn.

A: Check out (seb)'s events all through out the semester and tune into my radio show on monday nights (11pm-1am) www.wmbc.umbc.edu.
