Twice in the past three years, the Homecoming Bonfire was a washout. But not tonight. Here is some of what happened on Erickson Field.

After the grass caught fire, the fire department stepped in. Never saw that at a Homecoming Bonfire before! |
And so the UMBC community tamed the fire . . . until next year. |
