Student Belonging (formerly known as Initiatives for Identity, Inclusion, & Belonging, or i3b) in the Division of Student Affairs has hosted celebration ceremonies for Latinx, Black, and LGBTQIA+ / queer students for several years. This year, we are excited to add the Asian Cultural Celebration & Awards to the lineup. These three affinity events will honor and celebrate the achievements of UMBC's outstanding community members and graduating students.

Light refreshments and appetizers will be served starting at 5:30 pm for all graduates and guests in attendance.
For those interested in attending, please see our myUMBC post for our RSVP Forms. These forms are designed to collect RSVPs from graduates, their guests, and community members. Graduates will also have the chance to share details about their achievements and degrees. Graduates who RSVP by Monday, April 28th at 6 PMwill be recognized during the event and will receive honorary graduation cords. Each event has its own RSVP form, so please refer to the specific event pages for details on dress code, arrival times, and other event-related information.
