Registration is now OPEN. The deadline to register is February 10, 2025.
As part of the registration process, candidates will be asked to complete a brief online form that includes:
- A current CV/resume
- Educational background
- Research interests

ELIGIBILITY
The target audience for the Preview event includes senior Ph.D. students (passed qualifying exam or are post-candidacy by the time of the event), recent Ph.D. graduates, or early-career postdoc scholars in science, technology, engineering, math, and medical fields. Postdoctoral opportunities at the participating institutions include basic, translational, and clinical research. Information on clinical residencies and fellowships will NOT be presented.
There is no citizenship requirement to register. We are seeking domestic and international candidates alike.
PARTICIPANT OUTCOMES
- Become acquainted with the biomedical research programs at eight leading research institutions in the Philadelphia area:
- Consider priorities for a postdoctoral position, advisor, and research institution
- Hear from current and former postdocs working in a range of sectors about how they grew their careers in Philadelphia
- Connect with key stakeholders in postdoctoral affairs at eight leading Philadelphia research institutions

The goal of the Preview event is to raise awareness of the robust training opportunities in the Philadelphia area. Whether postdocs are interested in studying basic, translational, or clinical research in human or model systems, Philadelphia has lots of options for those interested in expanding their research expertise, developing professional skills needed in today’s job market, and growing a network of engaged and successful colleagues.
