RSVP for Dinner with Friends
Monday 2/12 ~ 5:30- 7:30 PM
On Monday, February 12, UMBCs Center for Democracy and Civic Life will host Dinner with Friends: an engaging, facilitated conversation that will connect you with other members of the UMBC community. GSA is co-sponsoring this event. Dinner with Friends will take place in University Center Room 312 from 5:30- 7:30 p.m. The Center for Democracy and Civic Life will provide a catered dinner.
At Dinner with Friends, you'll share stories, learn about each other's experiences, and discuss how we can move forward together on a topic of your choice (see below). Students, faculty, staff, and alumni who participate in Dinners with Friends report that they have wonderful experiences.
Please use this link to RSVP by February 2, 2024. Choose to join a facilitated small-group conversations around one of the following five discussion topics:
Building a welcoming and inclusive community at UMBC
Enhancing art and creative achievement at UMBC
Supporting mental health at UMBC
Fostering career readiness at UMBC
Engaging in the 2024 election at UMBC
Connecting and communicating at UMBC
