Caron Wildy successfully presents

his dissertation research proposal

The Language, Literacy, and Culture Program is pleased to announce that Caron Wildy of LLC Cohort 21 successfully and skillfully presented his dissertation research proposal to his committee on December 12, 2023.

Caron's project is titled, Art-Style is the Future: The Spider-Verse as a Model for Conceptualizing and Visualizing Graphic Narratives in Visual Media.

After his presentation, Caron had a substantive discussion with the committee about the next stages of his work. The committee agreed that the project is worthy of doctoral research and helped Caron consider some key issues as he moves forward into the research and writing.
