Dr. Antione Tomlin Publishes three Chapters

about the Black faculty experience

Dr. Antione Tomlin (LLC PhD 2021) has three new publications:

  • "I'm a Black PhD, and I still have to fight!" in the volume, We're Not OK: Black Faculty Experiences and Higher Education Strategies, edited by Antija Allen and Justin Stewart, Cambridge University Press, 2022.
  • "My Black is TOO Precious to Crack! The Importance of Self-Care" in the volume, Self-Care and Stress Management for Academic Well-Being, edited by Karis Clark, IGI Global, 2022.
  • a chapter co-written with Lavon Davis (LLC Cohort 25) titled, "Linguistic Liberation: The Experiences of Black Higher Education Professionals" in the volume, Global and Transformative Approaches toward Linguistic Diversity, edited by Sarah DeCapua, IGI Global, 2022.
