Join us for the Hybrid 7th Annual Culturally Responsive Teaching & Learning Conference on Thursday, March 31 and Friday, April 1, 2022.
Conference theme: “CRT: Celebrating Language, Race and Culture in Education.”
The conference will be held in a hybrid format, both in-person at the Maritime Conference Center and online. The conference schedule includes two keynotes, panels exploring current developments in education, and a wide range of sessions on important pedagogy and scholarship shared by educators from around the nation.

Preconference CRTL Training Institute

The 2022 CRTL Institute will feature a choice of one of two training modules for those interested in furthering training in cultural pedagogy.
How to Engage in Difficult Conversations when Discussing Race and Culture
This module will provide participants with practical strategies that will assist when engaging in difficult conversations surrounding race and culture.
Using Cognitive Dissonance to Navigate Through Resistance
This module will help participants identify, understand and lessen resistance to equity-minded practices.
