As the winners of the 2010 Prove It! competition, the students who developed the Biodiesel Production Facility proposal will receive a $5,000 cash prize and up to $30,000 to support the project.  At the big announcement event today, SGA Chief of Staff Tabassum Majid told the crowd that SGA intends to help several of the other projects move forward as well, and will be contacting the groups to make plans.

Congratulations to all of the finalists and all of the other applicants, who submitted thoughtful proposals and won support from their fellow students as well as members of the faculty and administration.  SGA developed Prove It! in order to tap and highlight the creativity and community spirit of UMBC's students, and the 2010 contest fulfilled those hopes.
