Description
Women's Center student staff members and ELI department leaders are co-facilitating a discussion on the topic of stereotypes, specifically related to the experiences of international students and English language learners.
After the discussion, there will be an opportunity for any women of color who are interested to have their photos taken for the "I'm Not" poster campaign, which can be seen here. This is a part of the Women's Center and Women of Color Coalition's semester-long Telling Our Stories project, which aims to reject stereotypes and promote visibility and community-building among women of color at UMBC.
