In Honor of UMBC's Sexual Assault Awareness Month

Students, Faculty, and Staff have made t-shirts describing their experience with relationship violence and sexual assault. On  Wednesday, April 8th these t-shirts will be hung shoulder-to-shoulder on a clothesline for public viewing, as if the survivors are there themselves, telling us their stories.

The Clothesline Project gives voice to the experiences of survivors, victims, family, and friends who have been affected by violence. All are encouraged to attend and participate.

Resources and information will be available at both locations! 

The Women's Center will also be holding a "Supporting Survivors of Sexual Assault: Cultivating a Survivor-Responsive Campus Workshop" for Students from 12-1 p.m in the Women's Center.

UMBC Community Members impacted by sexual violence are encouraged to make a t-shirt for the display prior to April 8th.
Supplies will be available in the Women's Center on the following dates:
Wednesday, April 1st from 10am-5pm
Thursday, April 2nd from 10am-4pm
Monday, April 6th from 10am-4pm
Tuesday, April 7th from 10am-5pm
