Description

Join us for a special Q&A Session with a financial educator from Making Change Financial Wellness Programs, a non-profit organization located in Howard County. This is not a “boxed” program that comes with a generic power point but rather an opportunity to get your questions about your budget and finances answered in a group setting. Managing your finances, figuring out loans and repayment plans, and planning for your future can be complicated issues to deal with while also working on your degree – let this hour be an opportunity to take advantage of learning skills and getting tips on how to manage it those money matters!

Lunch will be provided by the generosity of our friends in Off Campus Student Services. Arrive early since lunch will be provided on a first-come basis.

*all UMBC adult learners are welcomed to attend this event. This is not a specific women's only workshop*

What is the Returning Women Students Forum?

This program is designed to support undergraduate women over the age of 25 returning to college later in life. The meeting is an informal time for returning women to gather and share their stories, struggles, and successes. Campus resources will also be made available in order to help returning women reach their goals. Please check the Women's Center myUMBC group calendar for up-to-date meeting times. You can also request an invite to join the Returning Women Students Forum on Facebook for news, resources, and community building.
