Description
In a rare occurrence, the WGEC will be opening its lounge in the evening for a special screening of “Nevertheless (2020),” directed by Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker, Sarah Moshman. With an intersectional lens, “Nevertheless” highlights seven individual’s stories, all of whom have experienced sexual harassment in various industries, and how it has impacted them. Join us as we explore narratives behind the #MeToo and Time's Up movements, as well as discuss and reflect on how we can shift the culture by preventing sexual misconduct. Pizza, popcorn, and sweet treats will be provided for an authentic movie theatre experience!
