Description

Sept. 5th Discussion Topic - What do you need to learn?

The word “learn” derives from the Latin and Old English words for “footprint” or “track.” When we learn, a lasting impression has been made on us, hopefully in a positive way. In a moment we will dig deeper into the question of what kinds of learning are most important—and this may help us illuminate the many sides of the question “What do you need to learn?”

Join UMBC Hillel and Student Life's Mosaic Center in conversation as we consider this month's big question! If you have questions or need more information please contact Joe, jlevinmanning@umbc.edu or Lisa at mosaic@umbc.edu

Ask Big Questions is a national initiative geared towards bringing different members of one community together to have open and honest dialogue. The aim of these conversation is to get the participants to understand themselves through understanding others while sparking action in the community. This question this Friday is meant to have us critically think about ourselves and how we can still grow as a person.

A kosher meal will provided after the conclusion of the discussion.

Ask Big Questions is a collaboration between UMBC Hillel and Student Life's Mosaic Center.  All UMBC community members are welcome to attend.
