UMBC is launching an initiative to highlight and position the research activities on our campus. We are conducting this initiative along two related but separate focus areas:
· Our internal focus is to celebrate our rapidly growing portfolio of research achievements and to create continuous awareness of the impact of our research on the community and the nation.
· Our external focus is to increase national and international visibility and recognition among peers, partners and the public of the research accomplishments at UMBC.
Your input will help to shape the initiative by defining how we want people to think about research at UMBC.
