Description

The We Believe You Discussion Group creates space to center the experiences of survivors of sexual- and power-based violence. For safety and confidentiality reasons, this is a closed meeting for those who identify as survivors and their allies. It is not appropriate for students to use the space for class research or interviews.

If you have any questions, concerns, or want to know more about the group, email us at womenscenter@umbc.edu

Fall 2021: We are meeting biweekly on Tuesdays at 3pm IN PERSON! On the off-week, we will be meeting online at the same time.

This discussion-based program follows the Women’s Center Brave Space model to provide a welcoming environment and thoughtful community to engage in conversations focused on support and healing for survivors of sexual violence.

Due to COVID-19 Restrictions, our center has a max capacity for 15 people. To ensure you have a seat for We Believe You, please try to arrive a few mins early.

Please note: UMBC is committed to creating an accessible and inclusive environment for all students, staff, faculty, and visitors.
