Algebra Project Hosts Conference: Free Minds, Free People

Contribute to youth scholarships

This national youth conference is coming to Baltimore this July. The theme for 2017 is Fighting For Our Lives. The conference will tie together various threads of struggle—our fight for water rights, our fight against ICE, our fight for public schools, our fight against threats to transgender people, our fight for ethnic studies, our fight against the prison industrial complex, our fight for the arts, our fight against borders and bans and the settler colonial project—into this singular knot of fighting for our lives. Free Minds, Free People 2017 is a space in which we will remind ourselves and each other that we are fighting for our fundamental right to live as full and free human beings, and we share a commitment to reimagining education as one critical weapon in in this fight.

Can you help more students participate in this event? Contribute to youth scholarships that will help students pay for food, rooms, and transportation.
