Steven Dashiell, LLC Cohort 16, will be participating in Wayne State University’s Department of Communication Summer Doctoral Seminar in June, all expenses paid. He successfully applied for this nationally competitive program where his goal will be to produce a research proposal, paper, or dissertation proposal focusing on issues of resilience that ties into his LLC research surrounding male student veterans. All projects developed this summer, including Steven’s, will have a connection with this year’s topic: “Examining the intersections of gender, race, and sexuality in shaping career experiences through everyday communicative practices.”
