Job Offer: Alumni Regional Coordinator (US)

Job Summary:

This position is located in the office of Alumni Affairs, Office of Policy and Evaluation, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA), Department of State. The incumbent assists in the administration of ECA's alumni programs for U.S. citizens, in coordination with United States embassies worldwide, ECA program offices, and implementing partner organizations, as well as maintaining and developing content for the State Alumni website. 

This position is eligible for telework; additional criteria will be required (e.g., supervisory approval).     

Duties:

Serves as a subject matter expert on the range of alumni outreach and engagement for U.S. citizen alumni. Works with staff of U. S. Embassies and Consulates in the region to facilitate Mission administered activities designed to unite alumni communities and foster opportunities for alumni to share their experience and implement concepts explored during their exchange programs; assists in administering the annual alumni projects competition; prepares written analyses and reports for the panel review members; negotiates program details with posts to finalize funding; monitors projects in achieving stated objectives; prepares status and final reports; drafts content for social media platforms and messaging.
