The Department of Teaching and Learning, Policy and Leadership (TLPL)at the University of Maryland is seeking to fill two positions at either the Assistant or Associate Professor levels. We seek individuals with cross-cutting expertise in one or more of the following specializations: Minority and Urban Education, Social Studies Education, and Curriculum Theory. We are especially interested in candidates who bring a critical and/or a discipline-based perspective to the study of education problems and issues, and who provide evidence of the potential for outstanding research and teaching. Priority will be given to experienced scholars with an established research program, an interest in program development, demonstrated leadership, and a commitment to teaching courses in teacher preparation programs.
